Only recently, the successful producer of folding boxes was awarded the FSC certificate (Forest Stewardship Council). Currently, the company has been awarded the certificate Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes - Chain of Custody (PEFC). Economic, ecological and social responsibility |
![]() | From the edge of the wood to the final consumer, FSC and PEFC certified products pass through the different steps of trade and processing – the chain of custody. Each producer is demonstrably controlled through the “chain of custody”, and this assures that the chain is unbroken and may be tracked demonstrably – from the tree up to the finished cardboard package. |
![]() | While PEFC stands for a considerate forest management, FSC guarantees moreover the evaluation and verification according to internationally agreed environmental, social and economic standards. This is confirmed for consumers by the imprint of the respective logo on the packaging. |
| Wolfgang Bargehr, director of the quality management of Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach confirms: “FSC and PEFC are non-profit independent institutions that guarantee economic, ecological and social sustainability.” When raw materials are FSC and PEFC classified, this denotes that no compromises have been made neither to the quality of the packaging nor to productivity. | |
| Advance and success for packaging projects | Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach processes annually 20.000 tons of cardboard and paper. Many renown manufacturers of brand name and store brand products count on the specialist for the production of their packaging. The company helps its customers to assert their advance and their success by offering them constantly new ideas and solutions. |
| The strategic factor of success requires highest quality and security standards as well as economically and ecologically valuable solutions. The consumers define their wishes by their purchase decision. They want to be informed about where the products come from and how they have been processed. Both certifications encourage the increasing interest of the consumers. This provides confidence and encourages the purchase decision of the consumers. | |
