Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach uses mineral-oil-free inks and coatings when printing fresh fibre and recycled cardboard.
Special migration and odour-neutral sheetfed offset inks are recommended for the printing of food packaging. At Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach, we use mineral-oil-free inks and coatings when printing fresh fibre and recycled cardboard. These are MGA sheetfed offset inks and dispersion coatings compliant with the EuPIA Guideline and are the only inks authorised for the printing of direct packaging for foodstuffs.
Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach's products conform with the European Union Guideline and Swiss Ordinance 817.023.21. All of the cardboard qualities we supply and process comply with the applicable provisions of (EC) No. 1935 / 2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 October 2004.
With respect to recommendation XXXVI of the Federal Institute for Risk Assessment, our suppliers regularly confirm in writing that the materials we use for processing, such as cardboard packaging, inks and coatings, meet these standards.
Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach offers its customers the paid service of checking the material qualities and intended use of any at-risk groups of goods. We recommend this is done before developing the packaging.
The European cardboard and paper industry processes around 40 million metric tons of paper, cardboard and board each year for packaging purposes. Offsetdruckerei Schwarzach prints and processes around 20,000 metric tons per year, mostly folding cartons and blanks for the international food industry.
